TOTAL BODY WORKOUTS

Clients select either small group training (a maximum of four people per session), which provides an opportunity to meet other mums and mums-to-be, or one-on-one personal training.  All sessions last for one hour.

Pre-natal
All of our pre-natal programmes are designed to prepare your body for childbirth and make getting back into shape after the birth easier.

If you opt to train in a group environment during your pregnancy you will be placed with women of a similar gestational age. The content of the sessions depends on whether you train with us once or twice a week. For clients training once a week, sessions will consist of an integrated total body workout. For clients who choose to train twice per week, sessions will be broken down by body part to allow more intense focus on specific areas. The first session will concentrate on core stability, minimising back pain and toning the lower body (the 'pregnant bottom' is nature's way of balancing the weight of your growing baby). The second session will focus on upper body strength, aerobic fitness, relaxation and breathing exercises.

Postnatal
Having a baby can leave you exhausted with little time to think, let alone exercise. Our post-natal sessions are specially designed to be fun and relaxing, providing an hour to focus on your recovery and develop a sense of calm. You can look forward to time away from the chaos! Now is the time to watch your figure spring back into shape.

Sessions will focus initially on regaining core strength (that elusive flat tummy is definitely achievable) and energy levels; training will then progress to whole body conditioning.

Yoga for Pregnancy

We also run a Yoga course designed for pregnant women. To find out more information on this form of exercise please contact us direct.

General Information

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends, in the absence of contraindications, pregnant women are encouraged to engage in 30 minutes or more of moderate exercise a day on most, if not all, days of the week.

We recommend up to two of our classes a week and we can also provide simple, safe stretching and breathing exercises that clients can easily do at home.

Fit2Be personal training sessions are specifically designed for each stage of pre and post-natal fitness. Clients select either shared personal training (a maximum of four people per session), which provides an opportunity to meet other mums and mums-to-be, or one-on-one or personal training.
